EX DMK MP S. Sivasubramanian passes away in Ariyalur

Ex- DMK Rajya Sabha candidate S. Sivasubramanian, was passed away in Ariyalur, because of ill health.
Mr Sivasubramanian, the member of the Dravidar Kazhagam for almost two decades, joined in the DMK in 1971. He served as a party’s deputy secretary from 1983 to 1991. He was MLA of the Andimandam Assembly constituency from 1989 to 1991 and tuned a member of the Rajya Sabha from 1998 to 2004. Mr Sivasubramanian participated in the anti-Hindi agitation and stirs arranged for helping of Eelam Tamils.
He had two sons, S.S. Sivasankar and S.S. Sivakumar. Mr. Sivakumar is the DMK Secretary of Ariyalur district and Ex-MLA of the Kunnam Assembly constituency.
After listening to the news of Mr.Sivasubramanian, DMK president M.K.Stalin has gone to Andimadam at Ariyalur district where the body was remained and expressed his regards.
DMK MP A Raja, party’s Rajya Sabha candidate Tiruchi Siva, Ex-Minsters K.N.Nehru, M.R.K. Pannerselvam, E.V. Velu and Ponmudi have also expressed their respects. Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Karachi leader Thol. Thirumavalavan also paid his regards.
After that, the body was taken to his own village at Thevanur for public homage. The funeral ceremony will be held on Saturday.
