Exclusive: BJP tries to frame Jagan as Anti-Hindu and got humiliated
When it comes to playing politics using religious terms, the national parties stands first and especially Bharatiya Janatha Party did masters in it. This was proved once again in front of all the nation when they tried to mock the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh with a religionist remark.
It is all about Jagan’s tour to Dallas, America where he presided a meeting. In a video tweet of Rajya Sabha member, CM Ramesh which was retweeted by the official twitter account of BJP Andhra Pradesh, Jagan was seen with some of the members in front of a lamp which was about to lit. Generally, in our country, it is known as 'Jyothi Prajwalana' in which some important person lightens the lamp and in the video, it was Jagan who has to lighten the lamp.
Showcasing the video, CM Ramesh tweeted, "It is a shame to see Jagan refusing to lighten the lamp. He is not a Hindu. For the sake of Hindu votes, he went to temples at the time of elections and pretended to be one of them." He hashtagged Jagan as 'Anti Hindu' in that tweet which was supported by the BJP Andhra Pradesh with a retweet.
But, all their efforts went in vain as other twitter users and various social media platforms revealed an interesting fact. In the western countries, lightening a match stick or making fire by natural means is prohibited in public places especially in crowded meetings. In the video posted by CM Ramesh, one can hear that one of the organizers asks Jagan to press a particular switch to produce fire.
So, it is evident that the lamp is electrical and there is nothing Jagan can do but to just switch on the lamp. Don’t know why BJP is desperate to defame Jagan who is has been good in governance so far. If these are the plans to establish their authority in AP, they should come with a better one next time.
