Exclusive: 'Dostana' between KCR and Election Commission continues!
Since the Telangana assembly elections that were held last year, KCR is having 'Dostana' with the Election commission of India. Even the LokSabha elections for both the Telugu states were held as KCR predicted and reportedly insisted. Now, the EC again proved their leniency to the Telangana Chief Minister.
EC issued a notice to KCR on April 10th on his derogatory comments on 'Hindus’ who allegedly spoke out degrading them. Even at the centre, they let off the Narendra Modi at the centre for his objectionable comments in a speech during his election campaigning.
The EC was of the view that by delivering such speeches, KCR had violated the provisions of model code, which specified that no political party or candidate shall indulge in any activity which may aggravate existing differences, or create mutual hatred or cause tension between different castes and communities.
EC acted upon the complaint from Vishwa Hindu Parishad state president M Rama Raju against KCR for the comments he had made at a public meeting held at Karimnagar on March 17.
According to the complaint, KCR made some objectionable comments which breaches the election code of conduct like: “Ee Hindu gallu, Bondu gallu.. Dikkumalina, Daridrapu gallu.. desham lo aggi pettale, gattara levale.” (These Hindus or bondus.. they are dirty and cheap fellows, their plan is to fan communal flames and spread hatred).
But, EC just 'cautioned' KCR for his communal remarks and asked him to be careful in the future in a letter that was issued him on Friday
