Form-7 submitted to delete Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy's vote
Form-7 which is submitted to remove the fake votes is being misused as genuine votes are also getting deleted as a part of the political strategies to take down the opposite contestants. Amidst this, an anonymous person has submitted Form-7 to the Election Commission requesting to delete YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's vote. The person who submitted the form sought removal of his vote from the list in his native village of Pulivendula in Kadapa district.
He filed the form online in the EC’s portal after which the EC had passed on the application to the Pulivendula Tahasildar for the further investigation. On this note, both the parties started accusing each other on the votes deletion with the help of Form-7. As YSRCP alleged TDP for plotting against TDP, the ruling party officials and leaders reminded the incident when Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy admitted that his party leaders have filed form-7 applications to make sure that bogus voters are deleted from the voters' list.
TDP also submitted a written format to the EC to take necessary action against this, which would delete the voting opportunity for a number of genuine voters.
