G Parameshwara apologies after his convoy cause a traffic jam
Deputy Chief Minster G Parameshwara, who says that zero traffic was his privilege, has expressed regrets to students and parents after his convoy caused a major traffic jam in RT Nagar, Bangalore, due to which several schools vehicles carrying students being held up above 20 minutes on Friday.
Parameshwara was on his way for inspecting the road construction project in R T Nagar and traffic police had stopped vehicles for some time before arrivals of his convoy and later it moved. Due to traffic jam in the area and several schools buses and vans were hold in snarls.
Parameshwara said, “ I have told traffic police no ambulance or school bus should be stopped when my convoy is passing. But sometimes incidents like this happen. I apologies to school children and parents for this.” Parameshwara has time and again informed having traffic ceased to keep way for his convoy. He said previously “I do understand the problem people suffer due to zero traffic. However, there are many programs and meetings in the government every day, with little time to waste.”
