Among the fear that the BJP will topple the Karnataka state coalition government at any moment soon, Old Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad hurried to Bengaluru on Sunday with AICC Karnataka in-charge K C Venugopal. Two leaders will over a meeting with Senior party leaders on Monday at the KPCC office on Queens Road.
As per the Congress sources, EX-CM, Congress Legislature Party leader Siddaramaiah, KPCC President Dinesh Gundu Rao, DCM DR G Parameshwara and several senior leaders will present the meeting.
In the meeting, it is discussed that issues like as the chance of Operation Kamala, Cabinet extension and restructure, and quitting a section of Congress ministers from the state Cabinet will be debated.
The next BBMP polls will also talk over in the meeting.
A Congress-Janata leader stated, “It is for the first time that Azad is directly involved in the party’s state unit affairs.”
