Global pressure on Pakistan to release Abhinandan Varthaman?
With the opponent country Pakistan’s announcement that it would release IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman tomorrow, speculations are all around if this move will mark an end to attacks between the two countries.
Imran Khan's statement has not only attracted the attention of global media but also has sent a message that Pakistan is now under immense pressure as the country made the announcement without any conditions. But did Pakistan really do it owing to the peace?
Abuzz is that Pakistan reportedly bowed down to the international pressure over the raising concerns about its inaction against terrorism on its soil. China, who is said to the main ally of Pakistan has also didn’t support as such but have asked both the countries to end attacks in peace. This has sent an indirect message that China is no longer entertaining Pakistan’s attacks.
Meanwhile, it is said that countries like Saudi Arabia and the United States also have mounted their pressure on Pakistan to release the Air Force Pilot Abhinandan.
This has not only made Pakistan globally isolated but has pushed it to owe peace and release the Commander without any conditions.
