Google unveils 3D Animals in AR!

Coronavirus has been on everyone's mind since the lockdown. It might be harder for parents with young children to keep them entertained! Don't worry parents! Google has come to the rescue! Google has come up with a creative feature that allows you to views 3D holograms of wild animals in their environment from the comfort of your home!

 
This is not to say it's only for children! People of all ages can enjoy this AR animal. Besides, people can use this feature to refresh their mind during this health crisis.
 
Google’s 3D animals aren’t available on all devices. It’s only available on smartphones and not on computers or laptops.
 
Google introduced augmented reality (AR) objects to Search last year. A year later, Google has added more features with its Animal Section. One can now view a wider range of animals in AR.
 
Here are the animals that you view in AR: Tiger, Alligator, Angler fish, Brown bear, Cat, Cheetah, Dog, Duck, Eagle, Emperor Penguin, Giant panda, Goat, Hedgehog, Horse, Lion, Macaw, Octopus, Shark, Shetland pony, Snake, Tiger, Turtle, and Wolf.
 
Google also has planets like Mars, Earth, Pluto, among others on its AR Collection.
 
Here is how you can view the animals:
1) Search for the animal of your choice on Google Search – let’s say you look for a Cat
2) Scroll down till you see the button "View in 3D" and click on it!
3) A shadow of the Cat will appear
4) Follow the instruction and keep moving your phone from one end of the room to another
5)Finally, a Cat in 3D will appear!
6) You can resize the Cat by zooming in and out as per your requirement Note: Use the Chrome Browser if it's not working on other ones!
