Gouru Charitha Reddy, YSRCP MLA and her husband to join TDP?
Gouru Charitha Reddy, YSR Congress party MLA and her husband Gouru Venkata Reddy are reportedly joining the Telugu Desam Party any time from now.
Charitha who contested and won as MLA from Panyam Assembly constituency in the previous elections has taken this decision in accord with the credible info that the YSRCP supremo Jaganmohan Reddy will not be allocating her the MLA ticket this time.
When asked of the same, the couple made it clear that apart from denial of offering ticket, they didn’t have any differences with the party. “What is the use of striving for the party which is not ready to offer you a ticket in the next elections? YSRCP has put us in an inevitable situation. We will continue in the YSRCP only if we are promised with Panyam MLA ticket,” said Gouru Venkata Reddy.
If the reports are to be believed, Jagan wants to freeze the party ticket to Katasani Rambhupal Reddy this time snubbing the Gouru couples relentless efforts to strengthen the party in Panyam district. They played a crucial role in solving the issues connected to the district.
