Vijayapura MLA Basana Gowda Patil Yatnal, who is contesting the post of BJP state unit president, started to appease RSS to gain an advantage. In a statement, he stated if the BJP will come to power again in the centre, a new rule will be executed for a married couple will have only two children.
 
While talking to the press, he stated that this rule is necessary to stop the population explosion. “We will also scrap Article 370. The Rama Mandir will be built in Ayodhya” he said.
 
Yatnal also said, “I am the most dynamic youth leader of the party after former CM B S Yeddyurappa. There are no corruption charges against means I am not involved in any scams. Therefore I am the most eligible person to lead the party”.
