According to the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the processing time of H1B visa has been increased by 169 % in the last four years. Due to higher crisis levels for work visas and work permits, the processing time has increased.
It takes nearly 8 months for the officials to process non-premium H1B visas, according to the new statistics. In 2014, it took the officials 2.9 months to process the visa, but it has now been increased to 7.8 months time to process the same.
There are several other practical difficulties immigrants have to face. Reports suggest that it is getting difficult to get their license approved within a stipulated time.
It is Donal Trump’s aim to restrict immigrants entry into the US. But, he couldn’t achieve it as much as he’d like to because of a rift in Congress. So, to restrict the entries, the only way is to slow down the process.
