High Command plans to change KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao
The Karnataka State KPCC party has expected to change the KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao. While Dinesh has completing just a year as a president to party. The party high command is unlikely to change the guard of the party in the state. Meanwhile, a senior leader expressed KPCC president has been “planting stories and spreading rumours,” he said.
While the party sources also said “Some leaders who served in the Kumaraswamy government have been eyeing the top party’s post in the State. But there was no truth in changing the KPCC chief and leaders aspiring for the post were spreading rumours.”
Dinesh Gundu Rao said he was “unaware of any such development,” he was assigned as president of KPCC chief in the year of July 2018.
Previously Rao has remarked that BJP person might be planning stories about the Congress just to “divert media attention from real issues.” The sources said MP K.H. Muniyappa and former Ministers D.K. Shivakumar and M.B. Patil have aimed the post.
The party high command will soon announce the Opposition Leader for both assembly and council. Ex-CM Siddaramaiah being the CLP leader is expected to become the Opposition Leader of the assembly, and S.R. Patil is highly likely to become Opposition leader in the Council.
