'I didn’t expect this from a trusted person like Ali': Pawan Kalyan

Quoted by TDP chief Chandrababu as a flock of migratory birds, the film fraternity has flooded its support to YSRCP and each one has their own reasons. People who claimed themselves as the hardcore fans of Pawan also joined their hands with Jagan’s party upon which Pawan never bothered to react. But Ali’s announcement to join the main opposition has come as shock to political circles, mainly to Pawan who treated Ali as his main support from the starting stage of his career.

Despite the disturbances on the political front, the duo never made it public. However, Pawan chose to clear the air. Amidst the election campaign in Rajahmundry on Monday, the Jana Sena chief has recalled the relationship he shared with Ali. “What I like about Ali is the concern he has for the society. I always appreciated his quest to serve the needy. I told him that I wanted to work with him after which he referred his relative for Narsaraopet Lok Sabha seat and I accepted. After all this Ali opted YSRCP over Jana Sena. Is this out of fear that I would not win these elections?” said Pawan questioning their relationship.

He said that he was nobody when he started his film career in 1996 and no one expected that he would influence crores of people around the world. “How could someone draw conclusions that I will not win? I stood in support of Ali when he needs me. But now I feel cheated when people I trusted the most leaves me. This is one of the reasons I don’t trust people,” Pawan added which turned the crowd quite emotional. He also said that the only ones he trusts now is the common man and he was proud that he was one among them.

This sentient speech from Pawan Kalyan has made it clear that he is not in the talking terms with Ali. The comedian-turned-politician who expected party ticket from YSRCP has faced humiliation after which he was said to have discussions with TDP. However, it is now Ali’s turn to react over the statements made by the Jana Sena chief which has apparently thrown him into a bad light.
