'I urge India and Pakistan to exercise restraint': Foreign Ministry spokesperson for China
With the whole world turning its focus towards the opponent countries, it is now the China’s turn who responded on the recent airstrike on Pakistan by the Indian Air Force(IAF) hour after the surgical strike.
Lu Kang, the Foreign Ministry spokesperson for China has released a statement saying: 'Both India and Pakistan are the nations which play a key role in South Asia. Hope the two countries maintain a healthy relationship by ending the series of attacks and take measures to improve the bilateral ties'.
He also stated that maintaining a good relationship and cooperation between them will not only benefit the two countries but will also help in boosting peace and stability in South Asia. “Fighting terrorism is a global practice and to curb terrorism all the nations should work together in a peaceful manner. India has to create a favourable condition for this, through international cooperation” he added.
Ahead of the Foreign Ministers Meeting in China to be participated by India, Russia and China, these comments made by Lu Kang grabbed attention giving hints that China might play a crucial role in establishing peace between the opponent countries.
