IAF retaliates the attack from Pakistan F-16 Fighter Jet
A day after the surgical strike by the Indian Air Force(IAF) on the main terror camps of Jaish-e-Mohammed, Pakistan Army, tried to hit back by violating the Indian air space.
IAF has shot down Pakistan’s F-16 Fighter Jet, which entered the Indian territory, 3 km within Pakistan Territory in Lam Valley, Nowshera Sector. A parachute was seen dropping down who feared death as per the latest reports.
The air strokes across LoC were confirmed by Major General Asif Ghafoor, the spokesperson of Pakistan armed forces who stated that they don't want to break the peace between the countries but are ready to retaliate if they are forced to do the same. He even tweeted about the attacks on Wednesday which read that they have arrested one of the Indian pilots after bringing down two of the Indian jets. India, however, denounced these claims made by Pakistan.
A jet was seen crashed in an open field near Grand Kalaan village in Budgam around 10 am this morning which was identified as IAF Mi-17 Transport Chopper. On this note, airports in Leh, Jammu, Srinagar, and Pathankot were closed for civilian air traffic and are kept on high alert. Several commercial flights have been kept on hold due to security reasons including the services from Amritsar airport.
An official statement is yet to be released from the Indian Air Force about the attacks going on from the early hours of Wednesday.
