The Shivajinagar police have arranged a special counter in Shivajinagar grounds of the city to get complaints against the IMA Jewels, in a case the IMA company scam involving over Rs 500 crores. The police took his decision as a large number of persons are affected by this scam.
A big force police personnel has been deployed at Shivajinagar in fear of violence from the depositors who were cheated.
The company’s director, Mohammed Mansoor Khan is still missing. In his last voice message to the city police commissioner, he claimed that an MLA cheated him to the agreement of Rs 400 crores.
Mohammed said in the audio, “By the time you listen to this audio, I would have ended my life…I am in possession of properties worth Rs 500 Crore, gold, and diamond Jewelry. I request you to recover my money from the Shivajinagar Legislator and Rs 5 Crore which I had lent to BDA Kumar, to pay the investors.”
Khan’s audio spread virally on Monday, created widespread fear among the investors. In regard to the Khan’s suicide, police have neither confirmed or denied about the same. Police officials still say that he is missing.
