India confirms Surgical Strike by IAF on terror camps in Balakot
 
Vijay Gokhale, the Foreign Secretary has confirmed the air strike on Pakistani terror camps hours after the Indian air fighter jets dropped 1000 Kg bombs on terror camps across the Line of Control.
 
He confirmed that Masood Azhar-led JeM is active in Pakistan for the last 2 decades and is responsible for a series of terror attacks like the suicide bomber on 14 February 2019, 2001 Parliament attack and Pathankot airbase attack. "A suicide attack was conducted on February 14, leading to the martyrdom of 40 brave jawans of CRPF," said Gokhale.
 
Taking the reference from the Imran Khan’s speech yesterday, Gokhale said that the information regarding the location of training camps in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Jammu Kashmir has been provided from time to time. But the opponent country had denied their existence. “The existence of such massive training facilities which is training hundreds of terrorists could not have functioned without the knowledge of Pakistan authorities,” he added.
 
This action in revolt to the continuous terror attacks on our country was specifically targeted at the JeM camp and avoided civilian casualties with the selection of the camp, which is located deep inside forests. Claiming that the action taken is absolutely necessary, Ghokale said that intelligence has credible information that JeM was attempting another suicide terror attacks in various parts of the country.
