Is Jagan going overboard in making statements?
With Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan who come forward addressing the glitches in EVMs at certain polling booths, YSRCP chief Jagan, however, chose to stay mum until the late hours of Thursday. He addressed the media at his residence Lotus Pond, Hyderabad to thanks the people for coming out in large numbers and voting in favour of the YSRCP.
"I thank each and every voter for choosing YSR Congress. I also convey my regards to YSRCP activists, fans and followers for standing up against the TDP’s outrageous behaviour at the polling booths. I want to thank people for believing in Democracy. We will soon form the government and bring about a change," stated the party chief.
He then alleged TDP for provoking violence at the polling booths under the shadow of faulty EVMs. "Chandrababu Naidu and his cadre have ensured that polling gets disturbed and the voting percentage will decrease. His complaint to the EC is a drama to cover up his insecurities,” he added. Jagan even condemned the clashes between the parties which took the lives of two YSRCP activists. The way he addressed the media with over-confidence is being highly discussed as he didn’t step back to the state that the whole state voted for YSCRP.
On the note, Jagan heading back to Hyderabad on the same day of the polling has become the subject of speculation in many of the political circles. He would have done the same from Andhra Pradesh which would help in boosting the morale of the party cadre. Will he do the same if he were the next Chief Minister of the state?
