It has been said that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will announce the names of the candidates that are going to participate in all the constituencies for the upcoming elections by the first week of February. But this dynamic leader is going a step back to announce the list of reserved candidates first. It's because he is afraid that the TDP may attract their candidates by offering something huge. According to party sources, Jagan might announce candidates for the reserved seats only after the TDP declares its candidates for the same. This would give the YSRC some advantage over the TDP.
There are 29 constituencies reserved for SC’s in 175 constituencies. A survey predicts that YSCRP might win 12 seats and TDP could bag 9 into their account. This tells us that the person who bags the majority of these will get the power under their belt. The remaining 8 seats may be influenced by Congress and Janasena with 2 & 6 respectively. Even they might not win but could decide the fate of these two big parties.
There is another interesting thing this survey predicts. If the YSRC puts in a little more effort and fields suitable candidates, it can win all these eight seats, the survey said. Hence Jagan wants to keep a step back and let Babu to reveal his list and then he can have his strategic plans. In the remaining 8 constituencies, to whom Janasena can favour will decide the winner as it seems.
