Ivan D’Souza says government officers should work at new taluk centers
MLC and Parliamentary Secretary Ivan D’Souza said that the government officers of various departments are still working at their previous officers only. So that he said the officers do not go and work in their respective taluk within a month.
Ivan says, “Government officials, who are associated with Moodbidri and Kadaba taluks need to go and work at the offices of Moodbidri and Kadaba talks only. However, most of the government officials are working in their previous officers only. Due to this, the residents of the respective taluks are facing several problems. Hence, all the officials should go and work at their designated workplaces only. If the officials do not shift to the new taluks within a month, I will recommend disciplinary action from the government against them.”
Ivan also added that “Most of the government schemes are beneficial to the public. Some beneficiaries did not get some of the government facilities as there some legal issue. Hence, I will raise this issue in the next session in order to bring some amendments to the existing schemes so that all benefit.” Meantime Ivan declared that both revenue and pension adalats would be held at the Hobli level, once in every month. “If the adalats are held in the district centers, then the problems of people who are residing in remote villages would not be solved. Hence, there are strict directions to hold both revenue and pension adalats at the Hobli level once every month. Village Accountants should voluntarily go and collect the required documents form the pensioners and help them avail pensions, every month”, he said.
