On Vizag policemen, who obstructed him from participating in a dharna demanding special category status for Andhra Pradesh in Vizag on January 26, 2017, when TDP was in power, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy finally took 'revenge'. As Republic Day celebrations will be held on that day, the Vizag police denied permission to Jagan to hold dharna on January 26.
In Vizag, the police cited 'law and order issues', if dharna is allowed on January 26. Following the directions of then AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu, police denied him permission, according to Jagan's allegations. On the morning of January 26, Jagan refused to cancel the dharna and reached Vizag airport. To prevent Jagan from entering the city, at the airport, Vizag police deployed huge police force. To come outside even from the airport, Jagan was not allowed.
In the airport, at that time, there were heated arguments between Jagan and police. He will become CM soon and take action against police who obstructed him. By saying this, he warned the police men. Now as Jagan became CM with his efforts, everyone felt that Jagan would not take any action and Jagan had just warned police out of anger then because Jagan did not touch Vizag police so far.
Jagan not being that kind of a person who excuses or leaves someone so easily took 'secret revenge' on Vizag police. Oral instructions were passed to Vizag police commissioner asking them to take 'action' against those policemen, as a result of which, there SIs and one SI have been relieved from their duties and have been kept idle without giving any postings. Everything was done 'secretly' on July 27, which came to light now.
