Jana Sena declares its alliance with Mayawati’s BSP
Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party has announced its coalition with Mayawati’s Bahujan Samaj Party in a press meet in Lucknow on Friday. Both the parties have confirmed their alliance for contesting the Lok Sabha and state Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh and Lok Sabha elections in Telangana.
JSP chief Pawan Kalyan along with Nadella Manohar met BSP chief Mayawati in Lucknow and acknowledged that they have come to an understanding upon the seat-sharing and there are no differences regarding the same for either of the elections.
Speaking to the media post the meeting, Pawan said that Jana Sena wants to see Mayawati as the Prime Minister of the country. “Leaders like BR Ambedkar and Kanshiram Sahab who played a crucial role in bringing social equality have dreamt of this moment. We at Jana Sena Party would like to see Mayawati Ji as the Prime Minister. We are happy to be in association with BSP in AP assembly and Lok Sabha elections."
Pawan also appreciated the Kanshiram memorial saying: “ I have been to Lucknow some years back and visited Kanshiram memorial which is a true inspiration.”
However, Jana Sena's alliance with one of the parties like BSP will no doubt help the Pawan to achieve national recognition.
