JeM's chief Masood Azhar is in our country, admits Pakistan's Foreign Minister
After the series of attacks with its opponent country India and being isolated globally for their faulty steps, is Pakistan now making moves to prove its innocence?
With the latest statement released from the Government of Pakistan, seems like the country fell into defense now. Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Foreign Minister for Pakistan has confirmed that Jaish-e-Mohammed's chief Masood Azhar is in their country. They have also admitted that Masood, who played a pivotal role in various terror attacks in India, is unwell right now.
However, in an interview with one of the new channels, Mr. Qureshi stated that India needs to produce proofs that are acceptable in Pakistani courts to arrest Masood.
"He is in Pakistan, according to my information. He is very unwell. He is unwell to the extent that he cannot leave his house. That's the information I have," said the Pakistani Foreign Minister.
Masood Azhar was also the mastermind behind the 2001 Terror Attack on Indian Parliament and 2016 Attack on Pathankot Air Force Base. He also played a crucial role in Pulwama Terror Attack in which 40 CRPF Jawans were martyred.
With Mr. Qureshi's recent statement, it was made clear that Pakistan is now under global pressure and it is high time to act against the terror groups operating on its soil.
