Former minister K. Shivanagowda says ‘no disappointment for not assigning cabinet berth'
Former Minister of Karnataka K. Shivanagowda Naik has expressed his views on the decision of CM BS Yediyurappa’s cabinet berths. He said there is no disappointment for not assigning a cabinet berth to him, it is party decision and I welcome that decision.
He also mentioned about the non-availability at a flood review meeting by the Minister B. Sriramulu and Prabhu Chavan, MLA from Deodurg, and Narasimha Naik MLA from Surpur, have given their reactions.
Mr Shivanagowda Naik said “I came to know about his late in the night and was not able to join them as my vehicle was not in a good condition for the travel from Bengaluru to Raichur,” he said.
He also added “being disappointed” for not inducted in the Ministry, while “all BJP MLAs are like brothers. I don’t have any disappointment for not being considered for a Ministerial berth, as it was a party decision which I welcome. I am ready to work for the party.”
Mr Naik said he will visit the CM BSY for the relief work in the flood-affected in the Raichur district. MLA Narasimha Naik also said, “If I was disappointed, why should I be there at the Chief Minister’s house to discuss the issue of increasing reservation.” He asked “our dream of returning to the power has been fulfilled. Thus, there is no disappointment.”
