Kamineni not to contest in 2019 Assembly polls?

Earlier, Former Minister and BJP Kaikalur MLA Kamineni Srinivas has announced that he will not contest in 2019 assembly polls in Andhra Pradesh and having fully utilized the opportunity given by the people of the assembly.
In the recent past with the interaction of media people Kamineni stated that “Since the BJP had an alliance with the TDP, we had an obligation to contest the polls.” Kamineni thanked former Union Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu for his blessings and the encouragement given to him as an MLA (of BJP) and during his stint as Minister of Medical, Health and Family Welfare.
This time since there was no alliance between TDP and the BJP, he had no obligation to contest. Whatever I would serve masses of people in the public sphere, Kamineni added. From the inside source, there were reports that Kamineni would call it quits from the BJP and would join the TDP.
But with the heavy competition for Kaikalur seat, there is no chance for Kamineni to get TDP ticket in his last minute.
