Karnataka Politics: Three rebel MLAs ready to face disqualification
Three rebel MLAs Ramesh Jarkiholi, A.H. Vishwanath, and N. Nagaraj (MTB) are said they were ready to face disqualification for defection also, it arises, unfair of other rebel MLAs.
Whether it the candidate is disqualified, cannot become a Minister unto re-elected, a clause which the coalition is using to threaten the rebel MLAs whose denial of Cabinet berths in the coalition government. However, Mr. Nagaraj and Mr. Vishwanath expressed they would like to send out their son in the by-polls in their respective fields on BJP ticket and they were not worried about the disqualification.
Mr. Jariholi, earlier, is no mood to relent and has said party strategists that he would field a family member from Gokak in the by-election if he qualified.
