In a big satisfaction for the Milk Producers of the state, the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) is getting good demand even from New Delhi. After a gap of 29 years, the federation has begun to provide cow’s milk to New Delhi.
As per the KMF Chief Marketing Officer Mruthyunjaya Kulkarni, this milk will be distributed by New Delhi’s Mother Dairy.
He said “We have sent milk from Mandya to New Delhi and it will reach on Monday. This is the first time after 29 years that we are supplying milk to Delhi.”
He also said that “We supply pasteurized milk, so it will not break. For the Delhi order, we pasteurized the milk at four degree Celsius in Mandya and sent through the train. After it reaches New Delhi, it will be pasteurized again and will later be distributed in sachets.”
