We all know that Kohli is always hungry for runs and will hunt records in thirst of scoring runs. In the same fashion, he reached his 40th ton today in the second One-day International against Australia at Nagpur.
He paced his innings beautify to score 116 runs from 120 balls with 10 boundaries in it that helped India to reach 250. He ran mostly for singles and doubles and later he ran out of partners. This 40th century came for Kohli in very quick time when compared to the God of the cricket, Sachin Tendulkar. He scored this one in 139 fewer innings than Sachin.
It seems like it’s only a matter of 6-8 years for Kohli to wipe out all the existing records of Sachin. This Indian captain is already 2nd in the list of most ODI centuries surpassing legendary Australian cricketer Ricky Ponting by 10 centuries.
