Telangana Chief Minister made surprise announcement that he is all set to unveil the new list of his ministers in the expansion of the cabinet. The Chief Minister decided to undertake the exercise (at 4 PM) on Sunday, which is an auspicious day of 'Dasami', an official release said here Saturday night. Interestingly, the announcement came after former Governor ESL Narasimhan stepped down from his duty.
KCR has informed Governor-designate Tamilisai Soundararajan about the Cabinet expansion. Currently, apart from KCR, the state cabinet comprises eleven ministers. There is a strong buzz that KCR's son, former minister and TRS' Working President KTR, the CM's nephew and former Irrigation Minister Harish Rao will be back as state ministers.
Along with these two, Satyavathi Rathod, Gangula Kamalakar and Puvvada Ajay Kumar, Patnam Mahender reddy are likely to be given the minister berths. KCR, who was earlier criticised for not having any woman in the cabinet, may include Sabita Indrareddy who was Home Minister in YS Rajasekhar Reddy cabinet in United Andhra Pradesh. Sabita joined TRS recently after quitting Congress.
A cabinet meeting has also been fixed at 7 pm in Pragati Bhavan to approve the annual budget which is to be tabled in the assembly on Monday.
