The JDS party has given one vacant seat for the Independent MLA of Mulbagal H. Nagesh and held the remaining on the seat, while advised by legislators of JD(s) Legislature Party meeting.
But there were speculations by the party’s senior leader and MLC B.M. Farooq, he was met CM H D Kumaraswamy on Friday. However, Mr Kumaraswamy expressed his quandary situation to Mr Farooq and convinced him to keep one seat vacant.
At the same time, Minor Irrigation Minister C.S. Puttaraju advised that the party force request the quitting of two Ministers to accommodate people from the different communities in the Cabinet in JD(S) quota.
State President A.H. Vishwanath, and also senior leaders initially suggested to take in a minority community leader into the Cabinet. Senior leader and MLC Basavaraj Horatti also had said ready to join the Cabinet, if party offered.
