Mandya MP Sumalatha demands exclusive train cars for women between Mysuru, Bengaluru
Mandya Mp Sumalatha asked the Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal to implement exclusive train coaches for women between Mysuru and Bangalore mornings and evenings.
She wrote a letter to Goyal, Sumalatha expressed that most of the women, mainly garments workers from Mysuru, Mandya, Channannapatna, and Ramanagara traveling from to Bangalore daily for work.
“To ensure their safety inside the trains, and to make travel hassle-free women, exclusive train coaches are required in the mornings and evenings,” she asked.
She also said the railway minister to begin an RPF training unit in K R Nagar for general employment locally. Sumalatha Ambareesh stated the confidence of getting support for her demands in the next union budget.
