Modi is like Duryodhana, will be defeated because of his ego: Priyanka
Congress general secretary for UP (East) Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday used Mahabharata analogy to hit back at PM Narendra Modi over his ‘Bhrashtachari No 1’ jibe at her father Rajiv Gandhi.
Comparing Modi with Duryodhan (the evil price from Mahabharata), Priyanka, while addressing a rally in Haryana’s Ambala, said, “He (Narendra Modi) is as arrogant as Duryodhan, who got defeated of his ego.”
Addressing a rally, she added that the Mahabharata is proof that the country has never forgiven "ahankaar" (ego). She alleged that BJP tries to divert the country's attention to hide their failures.
Hitting out at PM Modi, the Congress leader further said that he has no time to listen to the farmers but has time to seek votes by taking the name of martyr of my family.
Reacting to these comments from Priyanka Gandhi, BJP Chief Amit Shah said, "May 23 will decide who is Arjun and who is Duryodhan".
