MP Rajamohan Unnithan visits sea erosion-affected areas
Recently elected MP for the Kasaragod, Mr Rajmohan Unnithan has visited the Uppala and Kanhangad sea areas where the incision of the coastal region took place.
Unnithan has sought the officials to take measures to resolve the problem.
He also approached the State fisheries Ministers held the asked him to concentrate on the issue of the people who were at the coastal areas in Kasaragod and immediate action to improve their way of life.
Almost the 40 coconut trees and 300 meters off the coast of Uppala have been washed away. Following that, nearly 20 houses in the area are in danger. The MP was escorted with the local leaders M C Khamaruddin, T A Moosa, M B Yusuf, and others.
