MP Shobha Karandlaje visits flood-affected areas in Udupi
Continuing flood situation in the Karnataka districts. Due to the heavy rains, several districts have been severely damaged in the Karnataka. While Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje has visited the Anjaru region, has observed that a number of houses have been damaged by the heavy rain, and flood.
Shobha has overseen the affected areas of Kaup with officers, and she had ordered the take appropriate measures. Meanwhile, she was also visited the Benegal Hadibettu, Cherkady at Brahmavar, where the woman named Ganga has died while milking the cow, as the wall of her cowshed collapsed on her.
As well as she has paid her condolence to the deceased families by the heavy rains and floods. And also she said CM BS Yediyurappa had declared a compensation of Rs 5 lakhs of 4 lakhs has been sanctioned. The remaining amount will be sanction in shortly. In that place, several MLAs and senior leaders were attended.
