Janasena’s only MLA, Rapaka Vara Prasad has issued a non-bailable warrant for the damage of the government property. This started when Police caught some people who are involved in gambling in which one of them is the member of Janasena Party. As per the MLA's Supporter, Rapaka made a phone call to S.I Rama Rao regarding a case. The Police Officer hasn't offered due respect to the Legislator and even used harsh language during the conversation.
At around 8 PM, Rapaka reached the Police Station along with his followers but SI wasn't in the station at that time. MLA decided to stage a protest in the police station itself demanding Sub-Inspector to appear before him at the earliest. Then, Rapaka being furious, along with his party members, reportedly pelted stones on the Police.
As a result of this, he has issued a warrant without any chance of getting the conditional bail. There was so much tension in his arrest as Rapaka and his members went unnoticed for a brief period of time after the warrant was issued. But, to arrest a legislator, Police must seek the permission of the speaker which is yet to be granted.
