During this pre-poll period, Chandra Babu Naidu is doing the best he could to retain power. Following the showering of promises after is victory and the latest schemes on pensions and every welfare activity, he is under impression that he can regain the trust of AP people for sure. In addition to this, his one-day Dharma Porata Deeksha demanding implementation of promises made in AP Reorganisation Act has shaken the throne of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This included many national level prominent leaders like Deve Gowda, Mulayam Singh etc, who are under one hut along with Babu and Indian National Congress. He told that Modi will have to implement his promises made for AP people within three days or he has to be ready to face the consequences. Till now, he is the kingmaker in the entire front being the experienced, aggressive and determinant on the ongoing situations.
He accused the Central government of dilly-dallying in allocating funds to the state. "The Centre has failed to fulfill its duties towards AP. I demand that the Central government give the people of AP what is rightfully theirs," said Naidu said. He lashed out Modi at every possible moment and often YSRCP leaders who describe this Deeksha as tantamount and a flop show.
The TDP president went to the extent of saying that Modi was not at all a leader of prime ministerial stature. “Modi lacks leadership qualities. He doesn't show even a bit of enthusiasm to develop the country," he said. He thanked the Congress party for its support to 'Dharma Porata Deeksha'. The point is will Naidu really could shake the throne of Modi with these activities? Up to which extent it would favour AP if Congress comes to power next? Let's wait and see.
