Elections are coming up in Andhra Pradesh. Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan said he will give clarity on his contesting seat in the month of February. Sources said that he would contest from Anantapur constituency before. Now, inside sources of Janasena reveal that Jana chief may contest from any three constituencies – Anantapur, Tirupati, and Palakol.
Palakol is the strong fort of TDP since 1988. Only in 2009 elections, the power has gone into the hands of Congress candidate Usha Rani. She defeated Chiranjeevi of PRP in the same election. Though Palakol is the home town of Mega Family yet Chiranjeevi failed to gain support there in 2009. Now this time to it is tough to defeat TDP candidate Nimmala Ramanaidu by Janasena Chief. Another option is Anantapur but TDP candidate Prabhakar Chowdary is very strong to defeat. If not TDP, Anantapur constituency will favour YSRCP candidate but not Janasena.
At last, Tirupati is the only favourable constituency to contest by Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan. In 2009 Chiranjeevi also won contesting from Tirupati. So, there will not be any notable hurdles for Pawan Kalyan unless TDP or YSRCP fields a strong opponent.
Janasena Chief cannot step back from contesting in 2019 elections because if he doesn’t contest he will not only lose the trust of people but also the trust of Janasainiks. There is a need for contesting by Pawan to boost up the morale of Janasainiks. Pawan should take the risk in 2019 Andhra Pradesh elections to print a positive impression among the voters.
