Poll Code Violation Complaint against Nikhil Kumaraswamy

Nikhil Kumaraswamy, son of Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy and the JDS-Congress alliance candidate from Mandya, had held a massive rally within the constituency on Monday, March 25, where around two lakh people gathered for his nomination filing. Following the rally, 3 separate FIR's were filed against him within the Mandya West police station, for violating the election model code of conduct.
The first FIR was registered supported a complaint filed by the flying squad of the committee, for stamping and spoiling flower beds, flowering plants, fountains, electrical connections and lawns within the Cauvery Vana. The under-construction compound wall and poles within the premises were pulled out, that led to its collapse and therefore the injury is calculable to be around Rs.8 lakhs.
The second FIR was filed for using party poppers that unfold green and white color papers at Sanjay Circle while not permission. Third FIR was registered against the actor-turned-politician for block the Bengaluru-Mysore main road from 2.30 PM to 4 PM and inflicting the obstruction of traffic, thereby inconveniencing the overall public.
The Mandya Lok Sabha constituency has become a difficulty of status for CM HDK as his son is contesting from here. He is doing everything potential to confirm a win for his son during this seat. HDK is paying additional attention to this constituency and is working towards gaining the confidence of the native rebel Congress workers.
The CM will be visiting Mandya today and can conduct political conferences with the JD(S) and Congress leaders. He will, reportedly, visit the residences of the Congress leaders.
