PUBG takes another life: Hyderabad youth kills himself after his parents scolded him
Not many days after a 20-Year-Old Telangana Boy died of severe neck pain after playing PUBG, the virtual reality-based online game has seen the death of another youth. Said to be the most addictive game in recent times, PUBG is now taking the toll on the values in our system.
The suicide of a 16-year-old boy named Kallakuri Sambashiva in Malkajgiri area, Hyderabad is another example. Apparently, he took his life after the parents scolded him for playing PUBG for long hours despite having an exam the next day. Sambashiva, the student of Gouthami High School, hung himself from the ceiling fan of his room at his home in the late hours of Monday.
Upon knocking down the door of the room, his parents were shocked to notice the boy hanging from the ceiling. They rushed him to the LK Hospital in Malkajgiri, where he was declared brought dead.
Deaths like these make it more evident that the decision taken by a few states to ban this addictive game is the right one. The ban on PUBG was recently lifted from the state capital of Gujarat, Ahmedabad, while others are mulling over the ban.
