The Andhra Pradesh State government employees have done their part in paying tributes to the families of CRPF Jawans who has been killed in Pulwama attack, by donating a sum of Rs 30 crore. The NGO leaders have met CM Chandrababu Naidu on Monday and handed over the cheque to him.
The employees association has gathered Rs 500 from each Gazette ranked officer and Rs 200 from grade IV and pensioners, making up to a total of Rs 30 crore which is apparently a huge amount. The Chief Minister appreciated the employees for their timely and generous help.
On the other hand, donations are pouring down from various organization all over the state. One of the private school's management has donated Rs 25 Lakh while Vivekananda schools have donated Rs one Lakh. Tanuku's Pragathi Junior College announced Rs 1.05 Lakh. The representatives of respective schools have met AP CM and handed over the cheques too.
Individual donors are also lining up to come to the aid for the martyred families. High Court advocate SS Sharma is one of them who has donated Rs 64,100 on his behalf and handed over the cheque to temporary chief justice Praveen Kumar.
