Rahul’s image now worse than in 2014: Gujarat CM Rupani
Indian National Congress working the president and the most probable Prime Minister of India if Congress comes to power in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections undergone bashing by Gujarat’s chief minister Vijay Rupani.
Vijay Rupani has said that Congress President Rahul Gandhi's "image is now worse than it was in 2014". He added that he felt "pity" after seeing Rahul being "trolled" on social media over his "immature behaviour". Rupani said Rahul's image is of a "non-serious politician" following his "antics" like hugging PM Narendra Modi and "winks" in Parliament.
“In 2014, there was a Modi wave, this time around, the country will witness a Modi tsunami because in the last polls, the sentiment was that Modiji should be made the prime minister and now, after he became the PM, people believe he is the right choice,” he added.
Rupani was in the city to campaign for BJP’s Mumbai-North East candidate Manoj Kotak, to seek the support of the city’s Gujarat community for the party candidate.
