RCB’s winless run continues as Rabada picks up fou-fer!
The miserable period of the Royal Challengers Bangalore prevails as they lost to Delhi Capitals in Chinnaswamy on Sunday. Delhi chased the below par 150 total comfortably in the 20th match of the Vivo IPL 2019. Delhi lost their opener Shikhar Dhawan for a duck in the very first over of their innings.
Later Prithvi Shaw and the skipper Shreyas Iyer built a very good partnership keeping the run rate very well ahead than the required run rate. Negi ended up shaw’s brief stay in the 9th over then Colin Ingram gave good support to captain Iyer before he got out for 22.
Iyer Changed gears in the last 6 overs who scored exceptional 67 off 50 balls as Delhi completed the chase without any panic even Shreyas and Pant got out quickly at the end.
Earlier, Bangalore who were put in bat never looked like they were on track in the whole innings losing wickets at regular intervals. Rabada foxed dangerous Devilliers with a slow delivery after Morris sent Parthiv early. Stoinis got out after a brisk start by Moeen Ali and Kohli repaired the innings.
Kohli faced just 24 balls at the 15th over but has hit 2 sixes in Sandeep Lamicchanne’s over before got out for Kagiso Rabada’s brilliance. Akshdeep Nath played a handy knock at the end with his 19 runs. Rabada was the man of the match for his 4/21.
