Rebel MLAs writes a letter to Mumbai Police Comm seeking protection from CM HDK
The 11 rebel MLAs of the Congress-JD(S) state coalition have been residing at the Bandra Kurla Complex, have sought for security protection from CM HDK and ‘troubleshooter’ of the coalition and State Water Resource Minister D K Shivakumar.
They wrote a letter to the Mumbai Police Commissioner about this DK Shivakumar and a few coalition leaders are expected to meet them in the hotel. The get the information of CM HDK and DKSHI both stay at age hotel to meet them and because of this, they were under fear.
“We do not want to meet them. Kindly help us in this matter and do not allow them to enter the premises of the hotel,” they mentioned. In that letter MLAs Pratap Patel, BC Patil, Bharati Basavaraj, S T Somashekar, AH Vishwanath, Ramesh Jarkiholi, Shivaram Hebbar, Mahesh Kumathalli, and Narayan Gowda were signed. Recalled that over 13 MLAs had filed their resignations as a revolt against the Congress-JD(S) state coalition government and submitted to the Karnataka Legislative Assembly Speaker Ramesh Kumar’s office and had flown to Mumbai in a special chartered flight.
