Cricket is often considered as a religion in India. For every religion, there is a god. For the people of cricketing religion, Sachin Tendulkar is God. Sachin took up cricket as a serious interest at the age of 11. He used to get trained under the coach Ramakant Achrekar. Within five years, Sachin managed to represent India at the international level. Sachin played his first test at the age of 16. He also made his ODI debut within a gap of one month. Soon, he turned out to be a young sensation at the global level. Slowly, Sachin raked up to each higher level and became the greatest cricketer of all-time. He retired in the year of 2013. He had a glorious international cricketing career of 24 years, more than any other player. He is also the only player to complete 30,000 runs (including Test and ODI) at an international level. Sachin played 200 tests and 463 ODIs in total. There will be an endless list if we start mentioning about his records. Some of them might get broken but no other player can beat all his records single-handedly.
