Sasikala approaches Madras High Court to set aside questions posed by the lower court
AIADMK leader VK Sasikala has approached the Madras High Court by the claims in connection of Foreign Exchange Regulation Act (FERA) violates involving Jaya TV.
While Sasikala claimed connection was that raised questions by the court pertaining to the affairs of Jaya TV, she said which she has no knowledge. That claims raised by the managing director of the TV channels.
Reacted to that lawyer Enforce Directorate G Hema submitted A2. While V Bhaskaran is only the managing director, Sasikala is the director of the company. She also said the charges against the company put forth by the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate.
Advocate Hema submitted the Sasikala with managing directors is liable for the offence committed by the company. Recording the submissions, Justice N Anand Venkatesh adjourned the hearing to September 3.
Without approval of RBI, the company made to hire purchase of transponders for the channel to an offshore company. Due to that FIR was registered on the Sasikala and Jaya TV. While the payments were made to K Ramachandran of the Singapore $1,36,094 without the general or special exemption from the RBI.
