Siddaramaiah says Rahul Gandhi must continue as AICC chief

Ex- Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah stated Rahul Gandhi must continue as the AICC president as there was no better option at this time.
'He (Mr. Gandhi) should continue in the post as the arty needs him in this situation. I am sure he will continue to lead the party', he said to the media.
Answering to questions on the county’s economic growth under PM Modi, Mr. Siddaramaiah, who attended various budgets as State Finance Minister in his decades-long political future, managed that the country’s economic growth has collapsed extremely and growth was said to be the lowest in the past 45 years. “This has resulted in an unemployment problem, besides the collapse of the rupee value”, he told.
He added that the five-year rule of the BJP-conducted NDA government at the Centre had messed up the economy and wondered why people still repeated the ‘Modi mantra’ despite the slow economic improvement.
Mr. Siddaramaiah states that BJP leaders were successful in making the people believe their dramas and lies.
The Ex-CM stated that the Pulwama attack was intelligence failure, and the government has hidden the truth from the people.
The Ex-CM also added that “The people get angry with us if we tell the truth. We are in a predicament”.
