State Cabinet witnessing wars of word between JDS and Congress

After the one and half month gap the state cabinet first meeting held by CM H D Kumaraswamy on Thursday, observed a war of words between the JDS and Congress ministers across the transfer of officers.

One of the Congress minister elevated the matter of the year-long transfer orders being distributed by JDS minister. Irritated by this statement the JDS minister expressed objection and requested the minister not to get into other subjects, that were not in the meeting Agenda.

Sources stated that, “But the minister continued to do so. He stated that the year-long transfers will damage the reputation of the government”.

As per the sources “JDS ministers, who assumed that the reference is made against them, didn’t allow the Congress minister to go ahead. They asked him to restrict his comments to his department”.

Congress ministers were not active in the meeting. “Major irrigation minister D K Shivakumar was not present in the meeting, therefore the Congress minister were low”, iterated by the sources.
