Sunrisers Hyderabad crushed CSK in Dhoni’s absence!
In the 33rd match of the IPL 2019, Sunrisers Hyderabad ended their losing streak by defeating the mighty Chennai Super Kings by 6 wickets. Winning the toss, stand-in captain Suresh Raina chose to bat first and there the Aussie-Proteas duo started slowly in the powerplay and later played very well to score 80 runs in the power play with the loss of Watson wicket.
After that, SRH tightened the situations, and CSK lost wickets consecutively and failed to score big shots at the end. They ended up with 132 on the board as Duplessis was the high scorer with his 31 balls 45. Rashid Khan bowled brilliantly to take 2 wickets for 17 runs.
Chasing a very low score, Orange cap holder Warner came to all guns blazing and scored a quick power 50 in just 25 balls that eliminated the required run-rate out of the equation before he got out to Chahar’s slower.
Imran Tahir was looked threatening as he dismissed skipper Williamson as well as Vijay Shankar. But Bairstow played his innings with ease that provided SRH with a clinical victory with 19 balls and 6 wickets left. CSK’s regular captain MS Dhoni was rested in this match. David Warner was awarded the 'Man of the Match'.
