The Supercop of the Bengaluru South, DCP K Annamalai declared that he is quitting from service, and gave his resignation to DG IGP Neelamani Raju.
He is a 2011 Karnataka Cadre IPS officer.
He began his career as an ASP in Karkala in Udupi district. He declared that after the resignation he will take rest for 6 months and join in the social activities.
He said that he is bored with fighting with thieves, robbers, and unable to give time for his family.
With BE and MBA graduation, he passed IPS in 2011.” All my relatives are my native. In the last nine years, I was able to attend just one marriage. This job is not suiting me”, he said.
There were gossips that the superior Police officer, who is also named “Singham” suggested that he is quitting the job for his political desires. But, Annamalai had contradicted the same.
Meantime, his decision too kindly his resignation has been committed and praised by senior IPS officer D Roopa, IG Railways. In her tweet, she stated that Annamalai has submitted resignation today and he is jumping into politics.
