Times Now survey conducted in January 2019 predicted that BJP-led NDA will be bagging 252 MP seats while Congress-led UPA will attain 147 seats. And the other ones will be getting 144 seats. About 15,731 no. of people participated in this survey and showed that NDA will fall short of the magic figure by 20 seats. And by the survey, it is clear that the parties which are not part of UPA will be the ones playing the crucial role in the formation of the government.
Apart from these, YSR Congress, TRS, TMC, SP, and BSP are not with NDA and UPA. The survey stated that TMC and YSRCP might get 32 and 23 MP seats respectively. TRS will be getting 10 MP seats while Congress gets 5 and BJP along with MIM will get 1 seat in Telangana. BJP will get 13 seats of 21 in Odisha with BJD winning 8 seats. In the North Eastern states, BJP is said to be winning 9 of 11 MP seats. SP-BSP alliance will be winning 51 seats while NDA wins 27 seats and Congress might win 2 seats in UP.
